TAICEP 2025 Annual Conference of Credential Evaluators

The TAICEP Annual Conference 2025 of the Association for International Credential Evaluation Professionals took place in Cavtat, Croatia, from October 20-23, 2025.
At the conference, Director Viktoriya Sergiyenko and Senior Adviser Tetiana Vahina represented the National Information Centre of Academic Mobility (ENIC Ukraine).During the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange practices in the recognition of foreign qualifications, discuss new trends in international education, and address the challenges faced by education systems worldwide.
Additionally, ENIC Ukraine experts, alongside colleagues from the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Poland, led a workshop focused on Ukraine’s education system amid the war and ongoing crisis. The workshop addressed the following key topics:
- the impact of the war on educational institutions and learning losses;
- the situation in temporarily occupied territories;
- changes in the Ukrainian education system that have occurred during the war;
- opportunities for verifying Ukrainian educational documents;
- statistics on inquiries from Ukrainian refugees regarding the recognition of their qualifications in Poland, Norway, and the United Kingdom;
- opportunities for assessing incomplete higher education and handling requests without a complete set of qualification documents.
Additionally, Norwegian colleagues presented a report on processing high application volumes through smarter tools and integrated services.

Participation in the TAICEP conference is an important part of ENIC Ukraine’s international activities, aimed at developing partnerships, enhancing the transparency of the recognition process, and strengthening trust in Ukrainian educational qualifications worldwide.
