Erasmus+ AR-2030 Project: 4th Edition of the Manual on Qualification Recognition in the European Region for Higher Education Institutions

ENIC Ukraine is participating in the Erasmus+ AR-2030 project. The project aims to develop and improve recognition practices in accordance with the provisions of the Lisbon Recognition Convention and the UNESCO Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education. Key areas of work include implementing common approaches to automatic recognition, exploring information-sharing opportunities among ENIC-NARIC Centres, developing recommendations for establishing new National Information Centres, and disseminating the Spotlight tool to assist higher education institutions in the practical aspects of qualification recognition.

The AR-2030 project includes the adaptation of practical materials for Ukrainian professionals. As part of the project, the text of the fourth edition of the manual on qualification recognition in the European area for higher education institutions (EAR-HEI Manual) was initially translated using artificial intelligence technologies, specifically the DeepL translator. Specialists from ENIC Ukraine subsequently edited the translation. These materials will help disseminate European approaches to the recognition of educational qualifications, support staff at higher education institutions responsible for recognizing foreign qualifications, and foster cooperation among national information centres.
