ENIC Ukraine training for the documents on education verification specialists

On May 17, 2024, the internal training for the specialists of the Ukrainian documents on education verification department took place in the ENIC Ukraine office within the UaReConnect “Reconnecting Ukrainian Educational Area” project with funding of the Council of Europe.
In the first part of the event, the professionals in the area of documents on education verification, Vita Soloshenko and Yuliia Horbunova, shared their unique experience. The experienced practitioners considered in detail the cases of document forgery, examined the samples of Ukrainian educational documents issued using machinations, and discussed the algorithm of action of the specialists when the fraud has been detected. The speakers reminded that the apostille of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with the sample of the signature and stamp put on the document certifies the fact of the document issuing and they emphasized on possibility of the apostille checking in the Electronic Apostille Catalogue that is available for public access.
The second part of the training provided the work in mini-groups for participants, where the ENIC Ukraine specialists could consider the prepared practical cases, individually analyze the documents and detect the fraud in practice. The experienced practitioners Yuliia Horbunova, Nataliia Sevriuhina, Hanna Hordzii and Nataliia Kutsuk managed the work in mini groups.
Overall, 34 ENIC Ukraine specialists on Ukrainian documents education verification visited the training. At the end of the event, the participants noted the extremely informative and useful character of the training, and remarked that the unique experience shared by the experienced specialists would become an indispensable guide during the work with the documents on education.
