DOCUMENT ON PRIMARY EDUCATION

1989-1991

Information on student's obtaining of primary education is generated in the USEDE and can be reproduced on paper by printing.

Upon request, a paper copy of the Certificate on Obtaining Primary Education is issued by the educational institution where the student obtained primary education, certified by the signature of the head of educational institution (indicating the date of signature) and the seal (if available).

Recommendations

ENIC Ukraine offers specialists working in the field of education to read the translation of the Recommendation of the Council of Europe on countering education fraud (original). The policy of the European Higher Education Area is transparent. Every member state of the European Union must make every effort on countering education fraud in all its manifestations: forgery of educational documents, “diploma mill”, “accreditation mill”, fraudulent education service providers for writing coursework, diploma theses, etc. Only with joint efforts we can achieve success in the fight against such manifestations, in particular, through a comprehensive exchange of information, the use of digital solutions for the verification of information (educational documents, the status of educational institutions) and constant monitoring of the activities of fraudulent education service providers.

The translation was made by ENIC Ukraine within the framework of the project “UaReConnect: Reconnecting Ukrainian Educational Area” with the financial assistance of the Council of Europe.

ENIC Ukraine пропонує фахівцям, що працюють у сфері освіти, ознайомитися з перекладом Рекомендації Ради Європи щодо протидії шахрайству в сфері освіти (оригінал). Політика європейського простору вищої освіти є прозорою. Кожна країна-член Європейського Союзу має докладати усіх зусиль задля протидії шахрайству в освітній сфері у всіх його проявах: підробці освітніх документів, “фабрикам дипломів”, “фабрикам акредитацій”, сервісам, що надають послуги з написання курсових, дипломних робіт тощо. Тільки спільними зусиллями можна досягти успіху в боротьбі з подібними проявами, зокрема, через всебічний обмін інформацією, використання цифрових рішень для верифікації інформації (освітніх документів, статусу закладів освіти) та постійний моніторинг діяльності шахрайських організацій в освіті.

POST-DIPLOMA EDUCATION

Post-diploma education is a component of the education system of Ukraine, in particular adult education.

Post-diploma education is a specialized advanced professional training aiming at expanding professional abilities and skills or obtaining another profession or specialty based on previously acquired education and practical experience.

Post-diploma education includes obtaining a second higher education, which means obtaining a bachelor's (master's) degree in another specialty based on the previously obtained higher education (at least bachelor's degree) and practical experience.

Post-diploma education included:

  • Specialization – profile specialized training aimed at obtaining skills to perform specific tasks and duties in a certain profession.
  • Retraining – adult education aimed at professional training to master another (other) profession(s).
  • Advancing a qualification/professional development – acquisition of new and/or improvement of previously acquired competences in a certain profession or field.
  • Internship – acquisition of practical experience in performing tasks and duties in a certain profession or field.

Post-diploma education in the healthcare field includes:

  • Internship, offered by universities, academies, institutes, scientific institutions, health care institutions, authorized to offer such programs by the central executive authority in the healthcare field, and is a mandatory form of primary specialization in medical and pharmacy specialties for obtaining qualifications of a specialist doctor or pharmacist.
  • Medical residency, carried out in universities, academies, institutes, scientific institutions, healthcare institutions, authorized to offer medical residency by the central executive authority in the healthcare field, and is a form of specialization of doctors-specialists in certain medical specialties for obtaining the qualification of a specialist doctor according to the list of medical specialties approved by the central executive body in the healthcare field.

Post-diploma education is provided by institutions of postgraduate education or relevant structural divisions of higher education institutions or scientific institutions. Upon successful completion of post-diploma education, applicants receive a qualification document.
